Do-It-Yourself... half moon manicure

I saw this in the March issue of InStyle magazine and decided to try it after seeing a few tutorials online. It was rather easy... fun new trend.

Here's what I used...
SinfulColors in Rise and Shine / Essie in Sand Tropez
I'm so happy Krystal, Gabby, and Jackie allowed me to borrow that awesome green color! Thanks ladies!

Step 1...
Choose the color you want on the half moon.
Paint your entire nail with a coat or two and allow to dry completely.

Step 2...
Make sure your nails a completely dry.
Use those paper hole protector stickers - stick them on your nail where you want the half moon to be.

Step 3...
Paint a coat or two (depending on how opaque your polish is) over the base color you applied. The sticker will give you a nice clean curve. Remove the sticker right away. If you wait until the polish starts to dry, the link won't be as clean.

Step 4...
Add a top coat. Try it in your favorite color combination!
